"Honeywell India Reports ₹137 Crore Profit for Q1, Driven by Strong Order Execution"

Engineering firm Honeywell Automation India reported a significant increase in its first-quarter profit on Monday, driven by successful execution of existing orders. The company's profit for the quarter reached ₹137 crore (approximately $16 million), up from ₹103 crore in the same period last year.
The boost in earnings was attributed to the effective handling of legacy projects and stable operational costs. Honeywell Automation provides building automation solutions for industrial clients and develops products focused on emission reduction and energy transition.
Revenue from operations increased by 3% to ₹960 crore. Total expenses decreased by 0.7% to ₹821 crore, largely due to a 41% reduction in "other expenses," although specific details were not disclosed.
Honeywell Automation’s stock saw a notable increase of nearly 47% during the quarter, marking its highest rise in at least a decade, according to LSEG data.
