Hoshiarpur to get Ayurveda University

Hoshiarpur: The proposed University of Ayurveda will be set up at Hoshiarpur, Forest and Medical Education Minister Tikshan Sud said.

'The proposal to set up the University in Hoshiarpur was taken because the hilly areas adjoining the town have plenty of herbal plants and these can be made easily available for research purposes,' Sud told reporters here.

He said the people of the region will be benefited once the University opens.
