iGATE to link with Cummins for global ERP roll-out

Bangalore: iGATE Global Solutions, an integrated technology and operations company, said it agreed to partner with the distribution business unit of Cummins Inc to design, develop, test, and implement a global ERP roll-out across 100 locations in over 20 countries.

The multi-million and multi-year deal includes programme management, business process, functional, technical and DBA support services.

Mr Dev Iyer, Global Head of the ERP Programme within the Distribution Business Unit, said iGate is aware of their business requirements and can help them differentiate in the marketplace with a focus on their customers.

Cummins Inc, a global power leader, is a corporation of complementary business units that design, manufacture, distribute and service engines and related technologies, including fuel systems, controls, air handling, filtration, emission solutions and electrical power generation systems.
