IIT Madras and Hero MotoCorp Sign MoU to Boost Research and Employee Skilling.

The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) and Hero MotoCorp have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on research, education, and employee upskilling initiatives.

As part of the agreement, Hero MotoCorp will introduce scholarships for IIT Madras research scholars and provide industry-relevant projects for students to work on, fostering closer ties between academia and industry.

IIT Madras will offer customized degree programs, including MTech and PhD courses, specifically designed for Hero MotoCorp employees. Additionally, the institute will conduct specialized short-term training programs to upskill Hero MotoCorp staff in critical technology areas such as Electric Vehicle Development, Battery Cell Technology, Motor & Controllers, and Vehicle Dynamics.

This partnership aims to strengthen innovation and skill development in the evolving automotive sector.
