Industrial Energy commissions its power plant

Kolkata: Industrial Energy, a joint venture between Tata Power (74 per cent) and Tata Steel (26 per cent), has commissioned 120-MW power plant, Power House 6, at Jamshedpur at a cost of Rs 490 crore.

The gas-based plant, completed in 34 months, will supply its entire generated capacity to Tata Steel to meet the increased demand f or power at the company’s Jamshedpur plant.
