Italian firm to open 100 sunglass stores in India

New Delhi: Italian eyewear group Luxottica is opening more than 100 stores of its Sunglass Hut retail brand in India through a franchising agreement with New Delhi-based real estate developer DLF Group.

Luxottica, the world's biggest eyewear maker, said in a statement the first India-based Sunglass Hut store would open this month.

It said the stores will be in select high-end malls and premium locations across the country.
