ITC Hotels Inks Deal to Operate 101-Key Welcomhotel in Gandhinagar.

ITC Hotels Ltd. has signed a management agreement for a 101-key Welcomhotel in the Karai area of Gandhinagar, Gujarat, as part of its strategy to expand its hospitality footprint in the state, the company said in a stock exchange filing.

The hotel, to be developed on a nine-acre land parcel, will strengthen ITC Hotels' presence in Gujarat's capital region and key industrial hubs. The property will feature 101 guest rooms and suites, an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, and a coffee lounge.

Designed to cater to both business and leisure travellers, the hotel will include over 10,000 square feet of indoor banqueting and event space. It will also offer 46,000 square feet of landscaped outdoor lawns, targeting corporate events, social gatherings, and destination weddings.

The addition of the Welcomhotel is expected to further enhance ITC Hotels' portfolio in Gujarat, a key market driven by business travel and growing tourism.
