Lemon Tree Hotels Opens Second Property in Bihar with Launch of Lemon Tree Hotel, Motihari.

Lemon Tree Hotels Limited, India’s fastest-growing mid-scale and premium hotel chain, has launched its latest managed property, Lemon Tree Hotel, Motihari, on October 31, 2025. This marks the hotel chain’s second property in Bihar and reinforces its growing footprint across Eastern India.

Situated in the historic city of Motihari in East Champaran district, the hotel allows guests to experience the region’s rich heritage. Motihari is notable as the birthplace of author George Orwell and as the starting point of Mahatma Gandhi’s Champaran Satyagraha. The city also serves as a gateway to Nepal and is well-connected to major towns like Patna and Darbhanga, making it a convenient destination for both business and leisure travellers.

The hotel features 50 well-appointed rooms and suites across various categories. In the first phase, 32 rooms will open alongside Citrus Café, a multi-cuisine restaurant, and banquet spaces including Tangerine Grand 1, Tangerine Grand 2, a boardroom, as well as a spa, fitness center, and swimming pool. The remaining 18 rooms and facilities, including Kebab Theater, a modern Indian specialty restaurant, and additional banquet spaces, will open in the second phase.
