Tata Motors-owned Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is set to commence operations of its Completely Knocked Down (CKD) vehicles from its Ranipet plant in Tamil Nadu on February 9, sources said.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin is scheduled to inaugurate the facility in the industrial town of Ranipet, located around 80 km west of Chennai.
Tata Motors has committed an investment of ₹9,000 crore for the project, which will be rolled out in phases over the coming years.
