"Jubilant FoodWorks Partners with Coca-Cola to Supply Beverages Across Its Restaurants"
Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd (JFL), a leading player in the food services industry, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Coca-Cola India to source Coca-Cola's portfolio of beverages for its restaurants. Starting April 1, 2025, Coca-Cola’s authorized bottlers will supply sparkling drinks and other products to JFL’s outlets.
The agreement follows the Jubilant Bhartia Group’s recent acquisition of a 40% stake in Hindustan Coca-Cola Holdings, the parent company of Coca-Cola’s Indian bottling arm, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Ltd.
JFL, which holds franchise rights for global brands like Domino’s, Dunkin’, and Popeyes, announced the deal through a regulatory filing. It stated, “The arrangement will help JFL enhance its consumer offerings.” A Master Agreement based on the MoU will be executed before the arrangement takes effect.
The move marks a shift for JFL, which currently serves PepsiCo beverages at its Domino’s outlets in India. With India being Coca-Cola's fifth-largest and one of its fastest-growing markets globally, the partnership reflects strategic alignment in the food services and beverage sectors.
As of September 30, JFL operates 2,199 stores in India, with a group-wide presence of 3,130 stores across six markets, including Turkey, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan, and Georgia. The collaboration is expected to strengthen JFL’s offerings while leveraging Coca-Cola’s market reach and portfolio diversity.
