KEC International Secures ₹1,704 Crore Power Transmission Orders.

KEC International Ltd. has secured turnkey orders worth ₹1,704 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (PGCIL) for the development of 765 kV transmission lines and gas-insulated substations (GIS) in the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) sector.

The Mumbai-based infrastructure major announced that these orders significantly bolster its T&D business order book in India. With this addition, KEC’s year-to-date order intake has reached ₹16,300 crore, reflecting an impressive growth of over 60% compared to the same period last year.

Vimal Kejriwal, Managing Director and CEO of KEC International, expressed optimism regarding the continuous flow of orders, particularly in the T&D sector. The company, part of the RPG Group, is actively executing infrastructure projects across more than 30 countries and has a footprint in over 110 countries.

KEC International is a key player in various infrastructure domains, including power transmission, civil engineering, railways, urban infrastructure, renewables, oil & gas pipelines, and cables. The latest orders from PGCIL reinforce KEC’s stronghold in India’s power transmission infrastructure development.
