Kerala Emerges as Electronics Manufacturing Hub With Fresh Investments.

Kerala is set to witness a major boost in its electrical and electronics manufacturing sector, with two key investment projects slated to begin operations at KINFRA industrial parks.

One of the projects is the V-Guard Innovation Campus at the KINFRA Electronics Manufacturing Cluster in Kakkanad. Spread over three acres, the first phase comprises an 11-storey facility with a built-up area of more than 1.10 lakh square feet. The campus has been conceived as a combined Research and Development and Learning and Development hub, bringing together innovation, knowledge sharing and customer engagement within a single integrated space.

Designed to support advanced product development, the facility also aims to provide a modern and engaging workplace environment. The project has seen an initial investment of ₹115 crore and has already created around 400 jobs.

V-Guard has also announced plans for a second phase of the project, involving an additional investment of ₹200 crore. The expansion is expected to generate employment for about 600 more people, further strengthening Kerala’s position in the electrical and electronics manufacturing landscape.
