Kirloskar Ferrous to Invest ₹3,000 Crore to Expand Hiriyuru Plant in Karnataka.

Castings and pig iron manufacturer Kirloskar Ferrous Industries has announced plans to invest ₹3,000 crore in its Hiriyuru plant in Karnataka’s Chitradurga district over the next three years.

The company, which already operates a manufacturing facility in Hiriyuru, aims to ramp up production, start sponge pipe manufacturing, enhance the capacity of its steel unit, increase iron ore processing, and modernise its foundry operations, Karnataka Industries Minister M. B. Patil said.

Patil, who conducted a roadshow in Pune to attract investment, also noted that companies including Wipro PARI, Atlas Copco, Bel-Rise Industries, Finolex, and Fluid Controls Limited have shown interest in investing in the state.
