KP Energy Ltd Secures Order from ABREL EPC Ltd for Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Project
KP Energy has successfully secured a new order from ABREL EPC Limited, a company within the Aditya Birla Group, for the development of the Balance of Plant (BoP) for an 86.1MW wind capacity. This forms a crucial part of a wind-solar hybrid power project, encompassing 86.1MW of wind energy and 65MWac of solar energy, all to be connected to the existing 140MW power evacuation facility at Fulsar Pooling Sub-station.
The project involves the installation of wind-operated electricity generators, commonly known as windmills or Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs), each of a 2X model. KP Energy will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive range of services, including Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning (EPCC) for the project. This encompasses various tasks such as land acquisition, design, manufacturing, supply, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning for the balance of plant. Additionally, KP Energy will secure the necessary approvals and permits for the project.
The entire project is scheduled to be completed in the financial year 2024-25, underscoring KP Energy Ltd's commitment to advancing renewable energy infrastructure and contributing to the growth of wind-solar hybrid power projects.
