KPI Green Energy Ltd has announced that it has secured new orders totaling 74.30 MW for the execution of solar power projects. Within this order, KPI Green Energy Limited ('the Company') will handle a capacity of 27 MW, including a 20 MW capacity for a solar power project that is part of a wind-solar hybrid power project.
In addition to the Company's direct involvement, its subsidiaries have also taken significant roles in the new orders. M/s. KPark Sunbeat Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of KPI Green Energy Ltd, is responsible for a 30 MW capacity, while another subsidiary, M/s. Sun Drops Energia Private Limited, will execute a capacity of 17.3 MW. Both subsidiaries are working under the 'Captive Power Producer (CPP)' segment of the Company.
The new projects are slated to be completed in various stages throughout the financial year 2024-25, in line with the order's terms and conditions. These orders mark an important step for KPI Green Energy Ltd, reflecting the company's commitment to expanding its solar energy footprint and contributing to the growing renewable energy sector.
The expansion aligns with the broader trend toward renewable energy adoption in India, with the anticipated completion of these projects contributing to the nation's efforts to increase its clean energy output and reduce carbon emissions.
