Rajesh Power Services recently said it has secured a battery energy storage project from Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL).
The project involves the development of a 65 MW/130 MWh standalone battery energy storage system (BESS) at Virpore in Gujarat, the company said in an exchange filing.
The BESS will have a capacity of 65 MW with a two-hour discharge duration, enabling it to deliver a total energy output of 130 MWh.
