Lohiya Group Establishes New Biscuit Manufacturing Plant in Hyderabad.

The Lohiya Group, a 28-year-old conglomerate, has inaugurated its new biscuit manufacturing facility in Medchal, located near Hyderabad. The state-of-the-art plant, named Lohiya Confectionery, spans across seven acres and integrates cutting-edge technology with a strong emphasis on sustainable operational practices, all driven by an "innovation-first" approach.

The newly launched facility boasts an impressive initial production capacity of 1,000 tonnes of biscuits per month. Its modular design allows for significant scalability, enabling the plant to expand its output to up to 5,000 tonnes per month in the future, catering to growing market demands.

Looking ahead, the Lohiya Group indicated a substantial investment of ₹300 crore planned over the next four years to further enhance its manufacturing capabilities and market presence. The establishment of Lohiya Confectionery is also expected to generate significant employment opportunities, providing 2,000 direct jobs and an additional 4,000 jobs across its wider supply chain and distribution network. This development marks a significant step for the Lohiya Group in the confectionery sector and is poised to contribute to the economic growth of the region.
