L&T inks ₹18,600-crore investment pact with Tamil Nadu in presence of CM Vijay

Infrastructure major Larsen & Toubro (L&T) recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadu government to implement three projects worth ₹18,600 crore, expected to generate employment for over 8,000 people.

The agreement was signed by representatives of L&T and the state government at the Secretariat in the presence of Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay and L&T Chairman and Managing Director S.N. Subrahmanyan. An official release said it was the first major industrial agreement signed after the Vijay-led government assumed office.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister assured full support and cooperation from the state government for L&T’s future expansion and growth plans in Tamil Nadu.
