Luxury Project Featuring India’s First Man-Made Beach Set to Rise in Chennai.

Chennai-based real estate firm GT Bharathi Urban Developers Pvt. Ltd. (GTB) on Tuesday announced the launch of Republic of Nature (RON), touted as India’s first man-made beach micronation, a premium residential and lifestyle project along the East Coast Road (ECR).

Designed to combine luxury living, nature-inspired architecture, and sustainable development, the project aims to redefine upscale coastal living in the region.

At the heart of the development is a 3.5-acre artificial lagoon beach, modeled after similar concepts in Dubai and Indonesia, marking the first such project in India, according to the company.

GTB Chairman Bharat Doshi said the Republic of Nature Micronation project carries an estimated value of ₹2,500 crore, to be developed in four phases over five years.

The project is expected to enhance Chennai’s profile as a hub for innovative and sustainable luxury real estate developments.
