Manali Petrochemicals Resumes Production at Chennai Facility.

Manali Petrochemicals recently said it is set to restart operations at its Plant-1 facility in Manali, Chennai.

In a filing to the stock exchanges, the company stated that the Department of Pharmaceuticals under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers has allocated a fixed daily quantity of propylene to Manali Petrochemicals Limited, which will be supplied by Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited.

Following this allocation and the expected resumption of feedstock supply from CPCL under the revised office memorandum, the company said it will begin the process of restarting operations at Plant-1 in Manali.
