Metro reshapes 17,000sqm of Mount Road.

It's congested and dusty right now but in three years, Anna Salai might just be unrecognisable. A few landmarks would have disappeared and snazzy entry and exit subways to underground metro rail stations will rise on either side of the road which will have wider pavements.

Work on the underground stretch of metro from Central to Saidapet is underway and will be done by 2017.
