Mint Homes starts Rs 100cr project

Chennai: Mint Homes Pvt Ltd, a part of the Rs 300-crore US-based realty development and construction group Mint Homes Inc., is embarking on a Rs 100-crore residential project in Coimbatore.

The investment on the project, financed solely through internal funding, is planned over two years, the company said in a statement.

Mint Homes is presently constructing an integrated housing complex on 2.7 acres of land at Sowripalayam in Coimbatore which will be ready for occupation in January next year.

Mint Homes is also looking at developing 250-acre township projects in tier II cities like Coimbatore and Mysore, said Raj Natarajan, director, Mint Homes.

Besides housing, the company is looking to broaden its investments into resorts development, eco-tourism and integrated organic farms.
