Mumbai: The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) is scouting for a project management consultancy for the implementation of the monorail system in the city.
MMRDA, a Maharashtra government undertaking, has invited bids from project management consultants, who have carried out assignments of similar nature and magnitude.
The bidder could be an individual firm or a consortium of firms involved in consultancy services of similar type, according to an MMRDA notice in a financial daily.
The bidder should have worked as a project management consultant for at least one monorail project costing not less than Rs 400 crore. Once appointed the consultant will work on the project for three years, MMRDA said. The deadline for submitting bids is May 16.
MMRDA has shortlisted three bidders for the monorail implementation. The shortlisted entities are Reliance Energy Ltd-Hitachi consortium, Larsen & Toubro-Scomi Group consortium, and Bombardier Transportation India.
