Mobike ambulance in Guwahati

Guwahati: Taking healthcare services a step further and adding a new dimension to it, especially in a city which has been at a receiving end of insurgency activities for a while, Down Town Hospitals Limited, a premier healthcare institute of the region, has launched the country's first ever motorbike ambulance service in Guwahati.

With rapid urbanisation sweeping the city, this service is aimed to reach the victims of road accidents, bomb blasts, disasters and domestic emergencies within a short notice.

The motorbike ambulance service, as the first line of response, will be able to cut down the response time, especially during rush hour. Traditional ambulances lack the convenience and agility of a motorbike, hence leading to delay in reaching the emergency site and attending to the victims.
