MOIL propses JVs with SAIL and RINL

MOIL is setting up the proposed two plants in an equal JV with SAIL and Rashtriya Ispat Nigam (RINL) at an investment of Rs 600 crore.

The unit with SAIL is to come up near Bhilai steel plant in Chhattisgarh for Rs 400 crore with a capacity of 1,06,000 tpa of the manganese alloys.

Along with RINL, it will set up 57,000 tpa plant at Bobbili, near Visakhapattnam in Andhra Pradesh at an investment of Rs 200 crore. Both the units are slated to be commissioned in 2013-14
