MPMRCL Reviews Construction Progress of Bhopal Metro Corridor from AIIMS to DRM Office

Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MPMRCL) Managing Director S. Krishna Chaitanya conducted a site inspection of the construction progress on the Bhopal metro priority corridor, which runs from AIIMS Station to the DRM Office Station and the Subhash Nagar depot. During his visit, Chaitanya gathered updates from various departments, Metro officials, consultants, and contractors involved in the project.

The priority corridor is slated for completion by May 2024, as announced during a trial run held in September 2023. Senior officials including Shobhit Tandon, Director (Systems); Ajay Gupta, Director (Projects); and Sanjay Singh, General Manager (Civil), were part of the inspection team.

Chaitanya assessed the current state of construction and emphasized the importance of coordination among all stakeholders. His discussions with the involved parties focused on ensuring timely progress and addressing any challenges that may arise during the construction process.
