NABARD sanctions Rs 115cr loan for a bridge project in Goa

NABARD has sanctioned a loan of 115 crore to the government of Goa under the Rural infrastructure development fund (RIDF). The assistance is being provided for construction of one rural bridge.

This major bridge, which will connect Camurlim and Tuem across River Chapora in North Goa, will be built at an estimated cost 143.53 crore. The project will be implemented by Goa state infrastructure development corporation Ltd (GSIDC).

The cumulative assistance sanctioned by NABARD to Goa over last two decades for completing various infrastructure projects now stands at 759.06 crore.
