"Naidu: Foundation ceremony for ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel’s AP facility scheduled for mid-February."

The foundation stone for the ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel plant in Anakapalli district of Andhra Pradesh will be laid after February 15, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said.

The decision was taken during a meeting between Naidu and ArcelorMittal Executive Chairman Lakshmi Mittal on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos. The steel plant will be developed with an investment of ₹60,000 crore in its first phase.

The Chief Minister has directed officials to complete all required approvals, including land allotment, before the foundation stone is laid.
