NDMC budget today, likely to focus on 'smart city' project.

The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) budget, to be presented soon, is likely to focus on its 'smart city' project.

This includes generation of solar energy, installation of LED street lighting, automated parking facility, online booking of council venues and waste management, sources said.

'A considerable section of the budget will be taking forward the work which has been started on various projects such as solar city, waste management and expanding the WiFi project to other parts of its jurisdiction area,' a senior NDMC official said.
