Nepal to get Rs 56 million aid from India

Kathmandu: India and Nepal signed an agreement under which India will provide Rs 56.25 million aid to Kathmandu as part of a regional development plan under the SAARC.

The grant will be utilized for tele-medicine, shuttle breeding in pulses, rural solar electrification and tele-education.

The projects funded by India, will be operated jointly in various locations and institutions in Nepal.
