New drinking water project for PP-287 constituency

Khanpur: Chief Minister Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has approved a grant of Rs 2.16 billion for various development schemes of PP-287 constituency. This was disclosed by Member Punjab Assembly Colonel Naveed Sajjid (Retd) while inaugurating a project of drinking water for the citizens. He informed that Rs 10.6 million would be spent on this project.

The other projects include-construction of 55 kilometre concrete road from Channi Goth to Feroza, cadet college for Cholistan, sewerage scheme for Feroza, girls higher secondary schools Feroza and chak no 87/A, Liaquatpur rescue 1122, up-gradation of six schools, water and sewerage schemes for Liaqatpur town, he explained.
