NTPC invites bids for AP solar projects.

NTPC Ltd. has invited bids for developing solar projects in Andhra Pradesh.

The bids are for the development of 250 MW of five blocks of 50 MW each of solar photovoltaic projects at Anantapur district in Andhra Pradesh.

The bidding process spans two stages.

In another notification, NTPC has invited expression of interest for the development of 1,000 MW photovoltaic power project. This is from domestic cell and module manufacturers and EPC contractors for the execution of power projects.
