Olive Expands to 100+ Hotels, Targets Mid-Market Hospitality Segment.
Hospitality operator Olive, the hospitality arm of the Embassy Group, is intensifying its focus on India’s budget and mid-market hotel segment, betting on strong demand and scalable growth opportunities in the space.
“We are strictly focusing on the budget and mid-segment… the opportunity there is enormous and that is the need of the hour in India,” Kahraman Yigit, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, told businessline.
The company has expanded its portfolio to over 100 hotels across multiple geographies, marking a significant milestone in its growth journey. As it scales further, Olive is now looking to onboard a strategic minority partner to strengthen its capabilities and bring in sector-specific expertise.
Yigit emphasised that the company is prioritising long-term value creation over a pure capital infusion. “The more we bring these properties live in different geographies, the more it fuels our presence and corporate business,” he said, highlighting the network effect of Olive’s expansion strategy.
