Over 100 industrial units to be set up in SIE

Lahore: The Chairman, Punjab Industrial Estates (PIE), Mohammad Ali Mian, has disclosed that more than 100 industrial units will come into production at the end of current fiscal year in Sundar Industrial Estate (SIE), while 45 have already started their production in different fields.

While speaking at a reception given by the Sundar Industrial Estate Welfare Association (SIEWA), he hoped the industrial units in SIE will be providing direct and indirect jobs to 50,000 families at the end of this fiscal year which would be itself an achievement for a model industrial estate.

He assured the factory owners that PIE's management will provide all services at their doorsteps and problems would be solved without any delay and promised to take up the gas shortage issue with the authorities concerned.
