Pak-China investment company to launch on December 27

Lahore: The Investment Division and Board of Investment will hold launching a ceremony of the Pak-China Investment Company at the governor's house on December 27. The government and its Chinese counterpart have set up joint stock company Pak China Investment Company with an initial capital of US $200 million.

The mandate is to promote and finance industrial ventures and investment projects involving Pakistani and Chinese investors. Punjab Governor Khalid Maqbool, Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Luo Zhaohui, Minister for Finance, Economic Affairs, Revenue and Statistics Dr Salman Shah, Pak-China Investment Company Managing Director Chen Jianbo, Deputy Managing Director Syed Iqbal Ashraf are expected to make speeches.
