Pakistan CDWP approves projects worth Rs 11.6 billion
Islamabad: The Central Development Working Party (CDWP) in Pakistan has sanctioned 10 projects worth Rs 11.6 billion in education, health, information technology, industries and commerce, minerals and environmental sectors.
CDWP's approved projects include a programme for the National Commission for Human Development worth Rs 6 billion in the education sector, construction of a hangar at heliport in Islamabad at a cost of Rs 349 million, two projects worth Rs 482 million for Nadra in the IT sector, a 120-bed hospital for Pakistan Rangers in Karachi and a 150-bed hospital at Palandri in Azad Kashmir at a cost of Rs 591.4 million.
Other projects are a Rs 462 million project in Islamabad for developing a monumnent complex, an inland navigation project worth Rs 450 million, and a Rs 411 million project for restructuring of Pakistan Institute of Trade and Development Capacity-building.The CDWP also cleared projects worth Rs 30 billion for construction and planning of rural access roads.
