Panipat- Jalandhar six laning project to take PPP route

The Panipat-Jalandhar six laning road project on National Highway 1, which is delayed due to numerous reasons, is now proposed to be taken up on Public Private Partnership basis.

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways will soon approach Public Private Partnership Approval Committee (PPPAC) to re-start work on the project.
