Paras Defence Secures ₹80 Crore DRDO Deal for Air Defence Optics.

Paras Defence and Space Technologies Ltd has secured an order worth about ₹80.28 crore, including taxes, from the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) under the Ministry of Defence for the development of a high-precision optical system for air defence applications.

The company disclosed the development in a regulatory filing to the BSE and NSE on Monday, March 9, 2026.

According to the filing, the contract is domestic in nature and will be executed within 18 months from the date of the supply order. Paras Defence said the transaction does not fall under related party transactions, adding that DRDO has no promoter or promoter group interest in the company.
