PM Modi Inaugurates ₹6,880 Crore Buxar Power Plant, Launches Key Projects in Bihar.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently launched several significant development projects in Bihar, highlighted by the inauguration of the ₹6,880 crore Buxar thermal power plant. The event took place in the state's Gayaji district.

The Buxar plant is expected to boost the region's power generation capacity, improve energy security, and meet growing electricity demands.

In addition to the power plant, the Prime Minister flagged off two new train services: the Amrit Bharat Express, connecting Gayaji to Delhi, and a Buddhist Circuit train, running between Vaishali and Koderma. Officials noted that the latter will promote tourism and pilgrimage to key Buddhist sites in the area.
