Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Gujarat on October 30-31 to participate in the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebrations and inaugurate various development projects totaling over ₹280 crore. During his visit, he will also address the Officer Trainees of the 99th Common Foundation Course in Aarambh 6.0.
On October 30, Modi will travel to Ekta Nagar, Kevadia, where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation for several infrastructure and development initiatives at around 5:30 PM, according to a statement from the Prime Minister's Office (PMO). Following this, at approximately 6 PM, he will address the Officer Trainees participating in Aarambh 6.0, which includes 653 participants from 16 civil services in India and three civil services from Bhutan. This year’s theme is "Roadmap for Aatmanirbhar and Viksit Bharat."
On October 31, at about 7:15 AM, Modi will pay floral tributes at the Statue of Unity before the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebrations commence. The projects he will inaugurate and lay the foundation for aim to enhance tourist experiences, improve accessibility, and support sustainability initiatives in the region.
The Prime Minister will administer the Ekta Diwas pledge and observe the Ekta Diwas Parade, which will feature 16 marching contingents from nine states and one Union Territory, along with four Central Armed Police Forces, the National Cadet Corps (NCC), and a marching band. Special highlights of the parade will include a Hell March contingent of the National Security Guard (NSG), a daredevil show by the Border Security Force (BSF) and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) bikers, demonstrations of Indian martial arts by the BSF, a piped band performance by school children, and a "Surya Kiran" flypast by the Indian Air Force.
