Polycab India Secures ₹3,002.99 Crore Order from BSNL.

Polycab India Ltd has signed an agreement with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) as the Project Implementation Agency (PIA) for the Bharat Net project in the Bihar Telecom Circle. The contract, valued at ₹3,002.99 crore (inclusive of GST), covers the design, supply, construction, installation, upgradation, operation, and maintenance of the middle-mile network under Package No. 7.

The financial breakdown of the project includes a capital expenditure (Capex) of ₹1,549.66 crore, operational expenditure (Opex) of ₹929.79 crore for the newly constructed network, and ₹523.53 crore for the existing network. This initiative is part of the government’s broader effort to enhance rural broadband connectivity under the Bharat Net program.
