R-Infra to cut stakes in two mega transmission BOT projects

Reliance Infrastructure Limited is planning to cut part-stake in two mega transmission BOT projects of Talcher (South India) and North Karanpura (central and west India).

The company can sell upto 26% stake in the projects according to allotment pre-conditions of maximum 26% stake sale up till five years from the date of contract.

Mint had estimated the North Karanpura project at around R2700 Cr while the Talcher project was valued at R1400 Cr back in 2009.
