RailTel Stock Surges Over 8% After Securing Contract from Defence Ministry

RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. has recently announced the acquisition of a significant work order from the Ministry of Defence. The contract involves the creation of RailTel PoP and is valued at ₹11,23,69,040, including tax.

This contract follows another substantial order secured by the company earlier this month. RailTel received an order from the National Informatics Centre Services Incorporated for the supply, installation, configuration, commissioning, and integration of ICT infrastructure. The contract, aimed at the operation and maintenance of the ICT infrastructure in compliance, is valued at ₹81,45,64,548, including tax.
