Ramky Infrastructure Wins Major Project from Maharashtra Industrial Township Ltd.
Ramky Infrastructure Limited, a leading player in industrial and urban infrastructure, has secured a ₹1,401.84 crore contract from Maharashtra Industrial Township Limited for EPC-based infrastructure works in the Dighi Port Industrial Area (DPIA) Phase 1, part of the Delhi–Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC). The contract includes GST and a four-year Operations and Maintenance (O&M) period, extendable by mutual agreement, with a completion timeline of 930 days from the appointed date.
MITL, a Special Purpose Vehicle with equity participation from the Government of India and the Maharashtra State Government, is developing Parcel B of DPIA in Raigad district. The project covers end-to-end delivery, from design and engineering to construction, testing, commissioning, and performance-based operations. Infrastructure works include roads and allied structures, stormwater networks, water treatment and distribution, sewerage and recycled water systems, power distribution, and utility ducts for ICT.
Ramky Infrastructure will leverage its in-house engineering, planning, and commissioning capabilities, supported by standardized monitoring and delivery controls, to ensure smooth execution and reliable transition to performance-based operations.
Commenting on the project, Sunil Nair, CEO of Ramky Infrastructure, said, “This LOA reinforces our strategy of selective, large-format projects where engineering depth, commissioning discipline, and lifecycle accountability are critical. DPIA is a high-importance industrial corridor assignment, and our in-house systems will ensure predictable commissioning and performance outcomes. The infrastructure will strengthen industrial readiness at Dighi by enabling reliable utilities and smoother operations for businesses setting up in the area.”
