Tiruppur-based textile manufacturer Ramraj Cotton has inaugurated its latest retail outlet at the Puratchi Thalaivar Dr MG. Ramachandran Central Railway Station (Chennai Central). Located in the station's newly developed concourse, the showroom marks the beginning of a five-year licensed operation for the brand.

According to a company release, this opening strategically enhances the commercial environment within the bustling railway hub. The initiative is in line with Southern Railways' ongoing efforts to optimize commercial spaces within key transit points, aligning with their vision to promote accessible and economically viable retail options for commuters.

Southern Railways emphasized that the presence of the Ramraj Cotton store is anticipated to enrich the station's existing retail ecosystem while simultaneously supporting the local textile trade. The new concourse at Chennai Central already hosts outlets of popular food and beverage chains A2B and Madras Coffee House, further diversifying the offerings available to passengers.
