Ranipet to Host JLR CKD Operations Starting 2026.

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), the premium automotive arm of Tata Motors, is set to commence Completely Knocked Down (CKD) vehicle operations from its Ranipet plant in Tamil Nadu starting early 2026.

This move marks a significant step for JLR's localization strategy in India. The company already locally manufactures the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport models within the country, and the expansion into CKD operations at Ranipet will further enhance its production capabilities and efficiency in the Indian market.
