Refex Renewables & Infrastructure to Foray into Fertiliser Sector with Biodhanic Brand.

Chennai-based Refex Renewables & Infrastructure has announced its entry into the fertiliser business as part of its diversification strategy. The company said in a regulatory filing that its board has approved an amendment to the ‘Objects’ clause of its Memorandum of Association to include manufacturing and trading of a wide range of fertilisers such as chemical, organic, and bio-based products.

The new portfolio will cover products including Fermented Organic Manure (FOM), Liquid Fermented Organic Manure (LFOM), Phosphate Rich Organic Manure (PROM), bio-fertilisers, bio-pesticides, herbal soil conditioners, compost, micronutrients, plant growth promoters, and bio-stimulants, in both bulk and customised formats.

The company plans to commercialise the new segment under the ‘Refex’ brand, with products marketed under the name ‘Biodhanic’.
