RITES Ltd Secures Addendum to Contract Agreement.

RITES Ltd has received an addendum to its contract agreement with Ntokoto Rail Holdings Pty. Ltd., awarding additional work for the supply and commissioning of overhauled in-service Cape Gauge ALCO Diesel Electric Locomotives. The upgraded locomotives will be fitted with new Cape Gauge bogies, traction motors, a control system, and an air-brake system, overhauled at a designated facility, with on-site warranty support for one year.

With this expansion, the total contract value has been revised from $5.40 million (CIF) to $10.80 million (CIF), doubling the initial order size.
