Haryana CM Confident Tesla Will Set Up EV Manufacturing Plant in State

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini expressed confidence on Thursday that US-based electric vehicle giant Tesla will establish its first EV manufacturing plant in the state, along with other related units. The remarks came during the inauguration of India’s first all-in-one Tesla Motors centre in Gurugram.

Saini highlighted the initiatives taken by his government to foster a robust “ease of doing business” ecosystem, positioning Haryana not just as a market but as a manufacturing powerhouse. The state is already a major hub for the automobile, IT, and other industries, he noted, reinforcing his belief that Tesla will choose Haryana for its first manufacturing operations in India.
