Sanwaria Agro Oils completes expansion

Mumbai: Sanwaria Agro Oils has completed its ongoing capacity expansion of core solvent extraction and refining business with an investment of Rs 25 crore. The group’s total soya crushing capacity after the expansion stands at 3,250 tonnes a day.

Mr Anil Agrawal, Director, Sanwaria Agro Oils, said: “We have postponed investment of Rs 2 crore in wind power and launch value-added soya products such as soya flour due to the current market conditions”.

The company plans to raise Rs 50 crore through external commercial borrowing for future expansion programme.

The performance of expanded capacity will be reflected in the results in the fourth quarter onwards.
